Turn on review sync and RaveCapture writes your aggregate star rating and review count into Shopify's standard product metafields. Your reviews stop living only in a widget and start showing up where buyers actually decide: your product pages and Google search results.
What it feeds
- Storefront product rating. Shopify reads reviews.rating and reviews.rating_count to show the star rating natively on your product pages.
- Google rich snippets. The same metafields power the structured data on your product pages, so your stars are eligible to show in Google search results.
- Your own product JSON-LD. Building custom schema? Pull the rating and count from the metafields and keep your JSON-LD accurate without manual updates.
How to turn it on
- Open the Shopify integration in RaveCapture and click Update Permissions.
- Switch on "Sync reviews to Shopify."
- Run the backfill to push your existing ratings. New reviews keep the metafields current automatically.
